SPEAR THAT PIERCED THE SIDE OF JESUS
By Chaudhry Rajinder Nijjhar, M.Sc.
On the evening of Friday, 13 June, 2003, I was watching BBC 2 programme on Christ Jesus and saw how the Centurion who thrust the spear into the side of Jesus had a splash of water and Blood on his body that turned him into the wise man or twice-born and enabled him to realise his mistake done as a once-born soldier.
He then turned the spear into the double-edged sword that carries a nail of affliction that all Christs suffer from the sons of Satan. The double edge of the sword stands for the one edge that clears your own confusion about God and with the other edge of preaching Gospel that clarifies the doubts in the minds of other twice-born. In Sikhism, it is presented by KHANDA that is encircled by a circle or steel wheel or chakra that represents eternity. The two swords on the side ensure that the honour of God is protected from the sons of Satan.
Now, this spear had a double coating - one of silver and the other of gold. Silver could rust but the gold does not lose its lustre. Silver is related to our physical body or the sins committed through the transgression against the moral laws and the Rabbis for the remission of the sins recommend bathing in water. Thus, silver coating is related to our physical body and this Mohammed stressed in his imaginary flight to heaven on Baraaq or an animal from Kabah, where his liver was washed with water in a silver bowl whilst in Jerusalem at Al-Aksa his heart was washed in a golden bowl. Thus, silver is related to the once-born people whilst gold to the twice-born people of spirit who are capable of plying this double-edged spear or better called a sword.
I could see or paid attention to the strings that held the side swords, etc. but I may be able to decipher that too.
You may pass on my articles to those who took part in the documentary especially my metallurgist friend as I am also a metallurgist and not a university theologian.
